The story behind EduGM UniTools

An idea from a student.
A journey towards something useful.

EduGM UniTools began with a simple thought: what if useful academic tools could be brought together in one accessible place for students? What started as an idea during the first year of engineering became a web-based project built around learning, experimentation and the desire to create something meaningful.

Who We Are

More than a collection of calculators.

We believe a useful digital product should make everyday tasks simpler, clearer and easier to access.

EduGM UniTools is an educational web-tools initiative created with students in mind. Its purpose is to bring helpful academic utilities together through a simple, organised and accessible online experience.

Students regularly work with calculations, academic information, numerical results and different kinds of study-related tasks. Sometimes, finding a suitable tool means visiting several websites, navigating complicated interfaces or repeatedly entering information into different places.

EduGM UniTools aims to make that experience more convenient. The idea is to develop a platform where students can discover useful tools without unnecessary complexity. Each tool should have a clear purpose, a straightforward interface and an experience that works well on both computers and mobile devices.

We see educational technology not simply as software, but as a way to make small parts of student life easier. A well-designed calculator, a clear result or a useful academic utility may appear simple. Yet, when designed thoughtfully, small improvements can save time and make digital learning more approachable.

Good technology does not always need to be complicated. Sometimes, its greatest value is making something difficult feel simple.

EduGM UniTools is a developing initiative. Its identity, features and direction will continue to evolve as new ideas are explored, tools are developed and the needs of students become clearer.

Our Journey

From an engineering student's idea to a web-based project.

Every project has a beginning. Ours began with curiosity, the willingness to learn and the ambition to build.

The journey of EduGM UniTools is closely connected to the experience of being a student while exploring the world of technology.

In 2026, during the first year of my engineering journey, I began thinking seriously about building something useful on the web. College introduced a new chapter of learning and personal development. Alongside academic responsibilities, I wanted to explore ideas beyond the classroom and understand how a simple concept could become a working digital product.

I was interested in the possibilities of web-based development: creating interfaces, organising information, writing code and connecting different pieces into a useful experience. Instead of keeping the idea only in my mind, I decided to start building.

The first important step was choosing a direction. Education was a natural area to explore because students often need practical tools for academic calculations and everyday study activities. This led to the idea of EduGM UniTools: a web-based destination focused on educational utilities.

Building a project is different from imagining one. A design may look good in theory, but it needs to work in a real browser. Links must open correctly, layouts must adapt to different screens, forms must behave as expected and every feature must be tested. These details became part of the development journey.

The process also created opportunities to learn through experimentation. Each page, design decision and new feature became a chance to understand more about building websites. The goal was not simply to put a name online, but to create a foundation that could be improved over time.

2026 · The Beginning

A decision to build

During my first year of engineering, I decided to explore a web-based project of my own. The ambition was to turn an idea into something practical and learn by building it.

The Idea

Focusing on educational tools

The concept developed around academic utilities and calculators that could help students perform common tasks through a straightforward online interface.

Development

Designing and building for the web

The idea began taking shape through website design, page development, navigation, usability improvements and the planning of useful tool features.

The Continuing Journey

Improving one step at a time

EduGM UniTools is intended to grow through experimentation, testing, feedback and new ideas. Its journey continues as the platform develops.

A note about our journey: EduGM UniTools is a developing project. The timeline above describes the idea and its development direction, rather than claiming milestones or achievements that have not been independently documented.
Why EduGM UniTools?

Making useful tools easier to reach.

The internet provides access to an enormous amount of educational information. However, access alone does not always make a task easy. A useful platform must also present information clearly, reduce unnecessary steps and help users understand what to do next.

This is the thinking behind EduGM UniTools. Rather than making every feature complicated, the focus is on practical functionality and a clean user experience. A student should be able to open a tool, understand its purpose and use it without having to learn an entirely new system.

We also recognise that students use different devices and have different levels of technical experience. A platform should therefore aim to be readable, responsive and straightforward for a wide range of users.

Our intention is to keep exploring tools that offer genuine educational value, while improving the reliability, accessibility and clarity of the platform as it develops.

Our Direction

Our mission and vision.

A clear purpose helps guide what we build and how we improve it.

01 / OUR MISSION

Make academic tasks simpler

Our mission is to develop accessible, practical and easy-to-use educational web tools that can help students with everyday academic calculations and related tasks.

02 / OUR VISION

Build a useful student platform

Our vision is to develop EduGM UniTools into a well-organised collection of educational utilities that students can explore whenever they need practical digital assistance.

What Guides Us

The principles behind the project.

Simplicity

Clear layouts, understandable instructions and fewer unnecessary steps.

Learning

Treating development as a continuous process of experimentation and improvement.

Accessibility

Designing with different devices, screens and user needs in mind.

Practicality

Prioritising features that solve real problems rather than adding complexity without purpose.

Responsibility

Working towards clear information, appropriate privacy practices and reliable tools.

Continuous Improvement

Using testing, feedback and new ideas to improve the platform over time.

Our Approach

Built with curiosity. Improved through experience.

Every digital project requires more than a visual design. It needs a thoughtful structure, consistent navigation, careful testing and a clear understanding of the people who will use it.

Our approach is to begin with a problem, consider a practical solution and build a user interface that makes that solution understandable. We then aim to test the experience, identify areas for improvement and refine the design.

We believe that learning to build technology involves understanding both what works and what does not. Mistakes and technical challenges are part of the process, and each one can provide useful experience when handled carefully.

As new features are considered, usability, performance, privacy and maintainability should remain important considerations. Our goal is to develop the platform thoughtfully rather than make promises that its current capabilities cannot support.

Development & Maintenance

EduGM UniTools × CodeBihin

CodeBihin is the development and maintenance identity associated with EduGM UniTools. The project aims to use web technology to create practical digital experiences, and CodeBihin supports its development direction and technical presentation.

Website development involves more than writing code. It also includes organising pages, improving the interface, maintaining links, addressing technical issues and working towards a consistent experience for visitors.

EduGM UniTools is presented as the educational platform, while CodeBihin is credited for website development and maintenance. Their roles should be understood according to the actual ownership and arrangements of the project.

Looking Ahead

The next chapter is still being written.

EduGM UniTools is not a finished story. It is an ongoing attempt to turn learning and ideas into something useful.

As the project develops, new educational utilities may be considered, existing pages may be improved and the overall experience may evolve in response to practical needs. The direction will depend on careful development, available resources and the usefulness of each proposed feature.

We want the platform to remain focused on its purpose: helping users access useful educational tools through a straightforward online experience. We also recognise that trust comes from being transparent about what a platform does, how it works and what it can realistically provide.

For us, the most important part of the journey is the willingness to start, continue learning and improve the work one step at a time. A small idea can become a meaningful project when it is developed with patience, purpose and responsibility.

The journey began with a decision to build. The future will be shaped by what we learn next.
